Pray for a team of 2 college age gals coming to serve this summer in Kazakhstan. Pray for their openness and flexibility, their spiritual growth and humility. Pray that the nationals that need to be working with them will rally to the call and help wholeheartedly.
Pray for Gulhan to be able to purchase a home. She would also like to remarry. Pray for her large extended family to come to Christ (about half are Christians already).
Pray for Nurgul, Gulhan’s daughter, and others like her – who have accepted Christ but are not walking with Christ, and easily falls away when confronted by non-believing family members.
Pray for members of Birlik church in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as they begin to shift worship into cell groups (from a traditional church format). This Sunday will be their first time to meet in small groups for worship. Pray for a sense of belonging and understanding, and that people would not just find another venue for worship.

Pray for a conference this weekend for pastors from a closed country, who are here for encouragement and rest. They live under such constant stress that they cannot relax and it is affecting their health. Pray for encouragement and the strength to go on.
Pray for Almas and Shingis as they travel into Uzbekistan to strengthen and encourage believers there.
Pray for Illiya, Ivan’s brother, who nkows all the answers but says he doesn’t believe. Yet recently he has been taking his Bible to work to read during breaks, and even a praise book – and has been teaching the others at work the praise songs and they are singing them together as they work. That is amazing. But Illiya needs salvation in Christ.
Pray for Oleg’s health, as he is not having the strength and energy he needs.
